Example of APA in-text citation

Include author and year of publication in brackets at the end of a paraphrased sentence.

Example:

Sociology studies have tried to identify the common values which exist in Australian society (Horne, 1964).

Example of APA end-text reference

End-text reference in the reference list has the author, year of publication in brackets, title of the book in italics, edition (if applicable) in brackets and publisher.

Example:

Horne, D. (1965). The lucky country: Australia in the sixties (2nd ed.). Penguin.
