If you engage in any academically unethical behaviour, you won't be building the valuable research, writing and study skills that your degree provides.

If you are aware of the guidelines for academic conduct, and you make sure you follow them, you will be gaining respect and recognition from your peers. Nobody likes working with somebody who is dishonest, lazy, or takes credit for work that isn't their own!
