Printing

Think Print portals

Everything related to student printing can be found under your Think Print portal. Check what jobs are waiting in your print queue, upload a new job, check your current balance, recharge print credit and redeem vouchers. Think Print allows you to recharge using our secure payment system through the Think Print portal.

Printer Access

You can easily print, scan, email or copy from any printer on campus using your University ID card. The first time you scan your card to use the printer, you will be prompted to activate your account. You can do so by logging in with your university login.

If you need to print something from your personal device, you can email it to any printer on campus, and it will remain in a secure print queue until you're ready to retrieve it. Manual print options are available temporarily if your staff card is lost or forgotten.

Alumni have access to BYOD print services. Please contact your IT Service Desk if you require assistance.

Credit top up

The Think Print portal allows students to top-up credit on their University ID card.

Printer Cost

Printing is charged at $0.11 for single A4 black and white and $0.25 for single A4 colour. Double-sided printing is only available from University computers.

Your credit balance must be over $0.00 to access a student printer.

Adding Credit to your Student Card

Print Credit can be added via the Think Print portal. Add credit to your University ID Card by following the Top up my Print Credit guide.

If there is an issue with your payment (e.g., you entered an incorrect amount, have been charged incorrectly or have changed your mind), please get in touch with your Campus Fees Office.

BYOD Printing

If you use your own device, you can still print your document on campus by emailing it to your campus queue. For Fremantle and Broome printers, send the email to printing.west@nd.edu.au. For Sydney printers, send the email to printing.east@nd.edu.au. You will receive a confirmation email once your document is available in the SafeQ print queue.

Please note that documents in the queue are kept for 48 hours. You will receive a notification if you do not print within 24 hours. Another notification will be sent after 48 hours to let you know that the document has been removed from the queue.

The SafeQ printing system supports the following file types: PDF, HTML, HTM, GIF, PNG, JPEG, TIFF, DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, PPT, PPTX, RTF, TXT, ODT, ODS, ODP.
