Gifts in Wills and Bequests

Create your legacy with a lasting gift

Your gift can make a significant impact to Notre Dame.

Gifts in Wills can make an invaluable and enduring impact to the students and researchers not only of today, but tomorrow. Making a planned gift to The University of Notre Dame Australia provides a sense of security in knowing that you are creating a legacy that will live on for generations.

A bequest is a gift left to Notre Dame in a person's Will. We rely on the generous support of visionary people to help us fulfil our educational mission. Bequests are an important part of this support and provide long-term impact

A bequest may be in the form of money, real estate, stock, shares, artworks or goods.

A bequest may be made for a specific purpose, or it may be unrestricted, allowing the University to allocate your gift to the area of greatest need.

If there is a particular area of the University that you wish to support, we would encourage you, or your lawyer, to contact us to ensure that we can fulfil your specific intention. We would welcome a confidential meeting with you to discuss how your gift can make a difference, and how we can honour your legacy.

Making a new Will, or changing your Will – a codicil – to include The University of Notre Dame Australia, should be done with the assistance of a solicitor for the wording to be appropriate and reflect your intentions.

We welcome you to contact us and discuss your intention.

Please call us for a confidential discussion on +61 447 885 463 or email us at bequests@nd.edu.au
