  • Biography

My PhD thesis explored creativity in a team environment and I have an ongoing research interest in creativity and innovation. I have taught business and marketing subjects at universities in the Middle East, New Zealand and Australia and have over 30 years business and consultancy experience in Australia and New Zealand.

I have a strong commitment to student-centric teaching and encourage my students to challenge accepted thinking by actively contributing to the dialogue. My mission is to teach students skills that will enable them to be successful in the future rather than merely pass on today’s knowledge.

In my career I held senior positions in advertising, both in account management and creative roles; in publishing and technology as a Sales & Marketing Director and as CEO of a business training organization. My practical experience is backed up by a postgraduate Diploma in Business Marketing, and a Masters Degree in Management from the University of Auckland. My PhD is from The University of Notre Dame Australia.
