  • Biography

    Alison is a titled neurological member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and has been a member of the School of Health Sciences staff since 2006. Alison teaches Neuroscience and Neurological Rehabilitation, and has a particular interest in manual task training, motor relearning and motor control. She provides communication skills training for undergraduate students and has a keen interest in the development of learning and teaching skills for health professionals in higher education. Alison graduated from the University of Cape Town in 1980 and has worked as a Physiotherapist in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Australia. She has Graduate Diplomas in Neurodevelopmental Therapy and Health Professional Education.
