Biography
Dr CK Yeung is a physiotherapist who has more than 15 years of clinical experience working in diverse clinical settings, including hospitals, private clinics, aged care, and community outreach services in Hong Kong and Australia. His dedication to community rehabilitation enables him to support people with disability at every stage of life, while advancing professional best practices.
Before joining UNDA, CK worked as academic staff in different universities in Hong Kong, with experience teaching musculoskeletal physiotherapy, geriatric and community rehabilitation. He played a major role in course coordination and curriculum design, during which he developed physiotherapy subjects for the new physiotherapy programme, and introduced web-based interdisciplinary training programme for gerontology education.
CK is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English; together with his experience across Asian countries, he is keen on supporting students and colleagues from different backgrounds. He has a strong belief in student-centred learning and is passionate about training professionals to work effectively in modern interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
CK’s research interests focus on improving rehabilitation service models, standardised assessment, and interdisciplinary case management through the application of the International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF). He is open to collaboration and committed to inspiring and mentoring future physiotherapists.
