  • Biography

    Amanda is currently the Program Coordinator for the Health Promotion degree in the School of Health Sciences. She is actively involved in research within the fields of mental health and well-being, assessing quality of life and aging, and motor performance, including elite athletes.

    She received a BSc and a MA (in international health) at Curtin University of Technology. In 2018 she completed her PhD at the University of Notre Dame Australia exploring if an adolescents level of motor competence influenced their sense of self and wellbeing. She continues to work closely with the institute for health research providing training and support for staff and students in qualitative research.

    Amanda enjoys working on a range of research projects and is currently supervising many higher degree by research students.
