Biography
Dr. Jo-Aine Hang is a part-time lecturer at the University of Notre Dame Australia and part-time research fellow at the WA Centre for Health & Ageing (WACHA), the University of Western Australia. Jo-Aine completed her PhD in 2022 with her thesis evaluating the effectiveness of facility-based transition care programme in WA. She is working on implementing and evaluating a novel falls prevention programme (TrEdEx) for the community home care older adults. Jo-Aine was a presenter for the Level 1 and 2 gerontology courses for Australian Physiotherapy Association. Additionally, she works with community-dwelling older adults to prevent falls and improve their health and well-being.
