Biography

Elaine is an Occupational Therapist with 18 years of clinical experience within the community setting, with a particular focus in paediatrics and disability. This experience has involved valuable opportunities working in Sydney, Asia, and regional Australia, with her interest in health policy leading her to achieve a master's in international public health.
Prior to commencing at the University of Notre Dame, Elaine has held positions focused on clinical education, quality service delivery and supervision of Occupational Therapists. She is passionate about ensuring the sustainability of the profession within the changing landscape of the disability sector in Australia and is invested in the establishment of quality foundational skills to enable successful transition of students into the workforce.
