  • Biography

    Evalena Lowe is the recently appointed National Program Coordinator for the Bachelor of Health Science degree at The University of Notre Dame Australia. Based in Fremantle, Evalena is also a PhD candidate at the School of Health Sciences, where her research explores physical, emotional, and verbal aggression towards teachers by students (PEVATTS). At the beginning of her doctoral journey, Evalena is passionate about contributing to the development of effective intervention and prevention strategies to address PEVATTS in educational settings.

    With a strong foundation in education, Evalena has previously worked as a teacher in both primary and secondary schools, bringing firsthand experience and insight into the challenges faced by educators. Her academic career has evolved to include her current role as Program Coordinator for the Bachelor of Health Promotion, where she supports curriculum development and student engagement in public health education.

    Evalena's commitment to improving the wellbeing of teachers and promoting safe learning environments reflects her broader dedication to health science and education. Through her research and leadership, she aims to make a meaningful impact on policy and practice in Australian schools.
