  • Biography

    Jade completed undergraduate studies at The University of Western Australia, majoring in neuroscience, anatomy and physiology, finishing with a first class honours. Jade is currently completing a PhD in clinical neuroscience at the University of Western Australia through The Perron Institute and school of medicine. Her research focusses on the role of the gut microbiome in neurodegeneration, specifically in individuals with Parkinson’s disease. Jade is currently involved in a range of neuroscience research projects, co-authoring numerous journal articles. She currently coordinates, lectures, and supervises projects in anatomy, physiology and neuroscience courses within the School of Health Sciences.
