Biography
Jesse Whitford is a Notre Dame Alumni, graduating with a post-graduate diploma in Exercise Physiology and has worked within the allied health industry for over 10 years. Jesse has been employed at the University of Notre Dame since 2018 within the School of Health Science as a Course Coordinator and Practicum Supervisor of various BESS courses. Jesse is currently completing her Master of Philosophy exploring Neurodevelopmental conditions and motor competency.
Alongside academia, Jesse owns a thriving Exercise Physiology practice and works as a Senior Accredited Exercise Physiologist, and has a primary interest in the management of chronic disease and reducing healthcare system burden.
Jesse also has experience within the corporate sector, working as an Injury Management Advisor and Team Leader at a major insurance company within the Workers Compensation sector.
With extensive clinical and corporate experience, Jesse is able to offer students insight into working within the healthcare space, and is passionate about bridging the gap between university education and 'real life' experiences.
