  • Biography

    Yvonne is a physiotherapist with 13 years of clinical experience in primarily government hospital settings in South Africa and Perth, Australia. She holds a postgraduate qualification in neurological rehabilitation and has a particular interest in stroke rehabilitation. She is currently a full-time Lecturer in Physiotherapy at the University of Notre Dame, where she has been teaching since 2024. Before this, she contributed as a sessional academic at Curtin University. Alongside her teaching and supervision responsibilities, she continues to practice clinically at the Sir Charles Gairdner Osborne Park Health Care Group, ensuring her teaching is informed by contemporary, evidence-based practice. Her dual role in academia and clinical practice reflects her commitment to advancing neurological rehabilitation and supporting the next generation of physiotherapists.
