  • Biography

    Dr Saif Dewan is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Notre Dame Australia (UNDA). He completed his PhD in Business IT from the Australian National University (ANU). Dr Dewan currently teaches Quantitative Methods for Business and Business Information Technology (IT) courses at UNDA. He also holds honorary research positions at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) and the University of Twente, Netherlands. Before joining UNDA, Dr Dewan performed important teaching and research roles at a number of universities in Australia and overseas, including the ANU, UNSW and London School of Economics (LSE), for over a decade. He also consulted in IT and Business Analytics for Australian and foreign governments, international organisations and multinational corporations, including the United Nations and Samsung. His current teaching and research interests include research methods, IT, AI and business analytics, IT artefact design, cybersecurity management, digital innovation and entrepreneurship. He supervised doctoral students with several successful completions and has extensive research collaborations both domestically and internationally. Dr Dewan has been on the board of several Technology Startups, NGOs and private Schools over the years.
