  • Biography

    Mr Duvenhage obtained his LLB and LLM at the University of Pretoria in South Africa as well as a further LLM (Research) from the University of Notre Dame Australia. In 2023 he graduated with a Doctor of Laws (LLD) specialising in Employment law. He commenced as a lecturer at the University of South Africa coordinating undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Commercial, Corporate and Employment law. He was admitted as an Advocate (Barrister) of the High Court of South Africa specialising in general commercial matters and he is also a qualified commercial mediator and negotiator. Prior to joining the University of Notre Dame, he worked on multi-national projects between Perth and Sydney. He commenced as a lecturer at the University of Notre Dame, School of Law (then) in 2015 and he has been involved in coordinating a number of courses throughout the years, including but not limited to, Employment law, Tort law, Social Media and the Law as well as Equity law. His specialisation is general Employment law with a special interest in tortious liability, discrimination and workers compensation litigation.
