  • Biography

    Angela has completed a Bachelor of Commerce, a Graduate Diploma in Commercial Law, a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice. In 2019, she was admitted as a Legal Practitioner to the Supreme Court of Western Australia. Angela is completing her PhD, researching the viability of digitally tokenising legal rights and interests in mining tenements to critical minerals for digital finance purposes, in conjunction with the Digital Finance Co-Operative Research Centre. Angela is also a Senior Consultant for MYR Consulting, delivering risk management seminars to legal practitioners.

    Throughout her career, Angela has taught law at several tertiary institutions, bringing her passion for legal education to diverse student bodies. She thrives on engaging with students in the classroom, fostering an environment where curiosity about the law is encouraged and explored. Angela is dedicated to supporting students as they delve into the practical workings of the legal system, guiding them in developing the critical thinking skills essential to legal analysis and problem-solving. Her teaching approach is centred on building student confidence, empowering them to tackle complex legal concepts and apply their knowledge in real-world scenarios.

    Alongside her academic pursuits, Angela has built substantial experience working within various legal practices. Her professional background spans a broad spectrum of legal disciplines, enabling her to handle diverse legal matters. This wealth of practical experience is a cornerstone of her teaching, as Angela integrates real-world legal practice into her classroom instruction. By doing so, she effectively bridges the gap between legal theory and its application in a professional environment, helping students understand how their academic knowledge translates into the workplace.
