  • Biography

    Elizabeth is a senior lawyer and Tribunal Member. She commenced her legal career in government at the Judicial Commission of New South Wales and then in government regulation and enforcement of federal laws as a Senior Investigator at the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission before moving into private commercial legal practice. She has acted in several high profile and complex matters at top tier global and national firms - as a Senior Associate at Blake Dawson/Ashurst and Baker McKenzie and a Partner at HWL Ebsworth and Dentons where she was also the national competition/antitrust law practice head. Elizabeth was appointed a Tribunal Member hearing matters in the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal’s Consumer and Commercial Division in 2020, an adjunct Associate Professor of Law and Business at Notre Dame University in 2023, and has extensive policy, board advisory, consulting and legal education/editorial/publishing experience. Elizabeth has taught core and elective commercial subjects at several high-profile law and business schools including UNSW, UTS, ACU and MIT. She holds various undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Science (Molecular Biology) and Law and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
