  • Biography

    Lisa has worked for 25 years in clinical nursing with a strong focus on critical care nursing in tertiary hospitals in Perth. Lisa  facilitated education sessions within the ICU and preceptored and supported in new staff education. Following completing her midwifery, Lisa worked at King Edward Memorial Hospital in the Adult Special Care Unit, combining her obstetric skills with high dependency nursing. Lisa was an integral member involved in the establishment of this specialized unit; the first in Perth. Lisa has also worked in the community for 10 years as a private school health nurse delivering care to residential school students who often had chronic health problems, as well as providing emergency health care to students and staff on the school campus. Lisa has worked with the BN students of NDU since 2008 and draws from a depth of clinical experience in her teaching focus related to Professional Practice. Lisa completed her postgraduate studies in 2016.
