  • Biography

    Gail has over 30 years nursing experience in cardiothoracics, critical care and emergency. She was the inaugural winner of the presigious Reginald 'Babe' Norman PhD scholarship awarded to an outstanding applicant who demonstrates high academic ability and original, tareted research which addresses significant health issues.  She has published on topics including falls outcomes, palliative care in the emergency department and bowel management. In addition to her PhD, Gail holds qualifications in both business and tertiary teaching and is a reviewer for the International Journal of Orthopaedics and Trauma Nursing. Gail is a member of the St John of God Human Research Ethics Committee and is a non-executive director at both Amana Living and Fremantle Women's Health Centre.
