  • Biography

    Lucy is a philosopher specialising in Ancient Greek philosophy and ancient, and contemporary, ethics. She is currently writing a monograph on philosophical courage in Plato's Republic and researching Plato's reception of Homer and conceptions of virtue, with a focus on Plato's Symposium.

    Lucy received her MPhil and PhD from The Department of Philosophy at The University of Sydney, where she subsequently held the position of Anderson Postdoctoral Research Fellow.
