Governing body

The Board of Directors is the governing body of the University and its role is supported by a number of sub-committees.


The Board of Trustees is responsible for protecting and preserving the Catholic Objects and nature of the University; for electing the Chancellor and Deputy Chancellor; and for appointing the Directors and Governors.


The Board of Governors provide advice and support to the Board of Directors and comprises the Trustees and other people appointed by the Trustees from time to time in accordance with the University’s Act.
