School of Philosophy & Theology, Sydney Campus

The School of Philosophy and Theology not only fully explores the Catholic Intellectual Tradition, it also encourages you to consider and question the fundamental assumptions we make about life.

Based in the heart of Sydney’s bustling Broadway district, the school embraces the Catholic Intellectual Tradition, which fosters and promotes thinking about the whole person as a pathway to an ethical and informed way of living. A key component of this is our unique Core Curriculum, also known as the Logos Programme, in which you explore the disciplines of philosophy, ethics, and theology, exercise your critical reasoning skills and engage in discussion and collaborative learning with students from all university disciplines.

  • Work Integrated Learning

Our Beyond the Books program offers many opportunities for practical experience and allows students to become job-ready while gaining academic credit by completing an internship program. We also encourage you to make the world your classroom by travelling and studying at one of Notre Dame’s 23 partner universities around the globe.

  • Mentoring/Academic Support

Through our extensive mentoring programs you can build your professional network, get access to industry leaders and gain first-hand experience of your chosen industry.
