The Stan Perron Charitable Foundation continues the enduring legacy of one of Western Australia’s most respected philanthropists, the late Stan Perron AC.

Guided by his belief in integrity, responsibility and service to others, the Foundation supports initiatives that strengthen communities and create meaningful, lasting change.

At The University of Notre Dame Australia, the Foundation’s philanthropy is helping to advance research, education and ethical leadership in areas of significant social need.

A key focus of the Foundation’s support has been Professor Lisa Wood’s pioneering research into homelessness during pregnancy. Through her work with Notre Dame’s Home2Health research team, Professor Wood is leading nationally recognised research that brings visibility to the often-hidden experiences of women who are pregnant while experiencing homelessness. Her work examines the impacts of housing instability during pregnancy on maternal health, access to antenatal care and the long-term wellbeing of children, while also identifying barriers to support and informing practical, evidence-based solutions that improve outcomes for vulnerable women and families.

The Foundation also supports the Stan Perron Chair in Business Ethics and Ethical Philosophy in Residence program at Notre Dame. This initiative reflects Stan Perron’s lifelong commitment to ethical leadership and responsible decision-making. By bringing leading philosophers into the University community, the program encourages students and staff to engage deeply with questions of ethics, morality and the responsibilities that come with leadership, helping to shape graduates who are guided by integrity and a strong sense of purpose.

Through this integrated support of research and ethical education, the Stan Perron Charitable Foundation is helping Notre Dame respond to complex social challenges with compassion, insight and evidence-based solutions.
