Application guide
Thank you for applying to study at The University of Notre Dame Australia. Notre Dame's admissions process focuses on each applicant as an individual. We use a broad-based assessment of suitability which looks at your past achievements and your potential.
This form will take a minimum of 30 minutes to complete. Please ensure you have gathered the required documents and have enough time to finish it in one sitting, as it cannot be saved and continued later.
You will need:
- Information regarding post-secondary study (including university, TAFE/RTO transcripts or STAT results (STAT results include written English and multiple choice sections)
- Information regarding tertiary studies
- Professional accreditation information (where relevant)
- Resume / CV (where relevant)
- Other supporting documentation (Optional)
Note: In your online application, you will have the opportunity to tell us about yourself and why you are applying to Notre Dame. We are interested in why you have applied for your chosen degree, and to learn about your interests and achievements.
Research applications will also need:
- Initial research proposal – Outlines your preliminary ideas for your planned area of research as outlined here
- Research background submission (if applicable) - Outlines your research background including any research projects you have undertaken in either academic or professional contexts, and any dissertations, publications and/or presentations that have resulted.
- Evidence of contact with your potential supervisors and their support for your research
