Deferred / Supplementary Exam Extension Application
General information
If, due to Exceptional Circumstances, you are not able to sit your Deferred or Supplementary Examination you can apply for a new date to sit your exam. Applications are assessed on a case by case basis and supporting documentation must be provided.
Applications must be submitted no later than three working days after the date of your Deferred/Supplementary examination.
You are required to submit a Certification of Health Professional or any other appropriate supporting documentation with this application. Documents certified by an immediate relative or a person residing at the same address as the applicant will not be accepted.
You will receive your outcome and any updates via your University email address. If your application is approved, you will be advised of the new exam period your rescheduled exam will be held in or details of your further assessment. If an extension on an exam is approved, you can view your more detailed exam timetable in your MyND student portal (blue tile: Examination Timetable) the week before each exam period. Please refer to the University Academic Calendar for the advised dates of exam periods.
If you have a current approved LAP formally issued by the Student Wellbeing Office, your accommodations will be arranged for this exam unless advised otherwise.
Please note that Student Administration assess applications for Deferred/Supplementary exam extensions, and during peak periods, turnaround times may be a little longer than usual. We encourage you to submit your application as early as possible.
It is your responsibility to ensure you are aware of the decision of this application and the date/s and time/s of the rescheduled exam/s if approved.
