Graduation ceremony deferral application

This form is to be used only for students who have been approved to graduate and have already received notification of their assigned Graduation ceremony.

You may apply to defer your attendance at your assigned graduation ceremony after your graduation approval is granted. Applications to defer ceremony allocation will be considered on a case-by-case basis and must be submitted through this form.

If your request is approved, you will be automatically assigned to the next available graduation ceremony at your home campus. Alternatively, if you specify in your application, you may be assigned to the next available ceremony at a different UNDA campus. Please note that deferring your ceremony will not affect your conferral date or delay your access to digital graduation documentation. However, it will postpone the production and issuance of your physical testamur to align with the timeline of your new ceremony allocation.

Please note that you can only submit an application to defer once. If you are unable to attend your deferred ceremony, you will need to RSVP as graduating ‘in absentia.’

Outcome

You will receive the outcome of your application and any updates regarding your graduation ceremony via your university student email. You will retain access to your student email even after completing your studies.
