2024 Vice Chancellor’s Medals Awarded to Outstanding Graduates

The University of Notre Dame Australia is proud to announce the recipients of the prestigious Vice Chancellor’s Medal for 2024, awarded to the graduates with the highest weighted average marks in their respective schools.

Natasha Pilkadaris has been awarded the 2024 Vice Chancellor’s Undergraduate Medal for the School of Education, for her exceptional academic performance in the Bachelor of Education, Primary program. Natasha’s dedication to her studies has earned her this well-deserved recognition.

Sienna Karklin has been awarded the 2024 Vice Chancellor’s Undergraduate Medal for the School of Nursing and Midwifery, for her outstanding achievements in the Bachelor of Nursing program. Sienna’s hard work and commitment to the nursing profession have made her a standout student.

The Vice Chancellor’s Medals are awarded annually to the graduate from each school who demonstrates the highest academic achievement and commitment to the values of Notre Dame. These awards serve as a testament to the hard work and dedication of the University’s top students and highlight the exceptional academic standards upheld by the institution.

Vice Chancellor Professor Francis Campbell congratulated both recipients, saying “we are very proud to celebrate the outstanding academic achievements of Natasha and Sienna, who exemplify the highest standards of excellence and embody the values we hold dear at Notre Dame.”

Both graduates expressed their gratitude for the recognition and support they received during their studies. “Being awarded the Vice Chancellor’s Medal is a great honour,” said Natasha Pilkadaris. “I’m grateful to my teachers, family, and fellow students for their support throughout my journey.” Sienna Karklin added, “This recognition motivates me to continue striving for excellence in nursing. I’m thankful to Notre Dame for providing such a supportive learning environment.”
