University ranks 1st in Western Australia and 2nd nationally for overall employer satisfaction and 1st for collaborative skills
The University of Notre Dame Australia has been ranked among the nation’s top universities for graduate performance, following the release of the 2025 QILT Employer Satisfaction Survey.
Employers ranked Notre Dame 2nd nationally – and 1st in Western Australia -- for overall satisfaction with graduates, placing the University among Australia’s leading institutions in a highly competitive sector.
Notre Dame graduates were also ranked 1st in Australia for collaborative skills, reinforcing collaboration as a distinctive strength of Notre Dame education. In addition, the University ranked 6th nationally for employability skills, with employer confidence remaining strong, as 88.1% of employers indicated they would hire another Notre Dame graduate, exceeding the national average.
Vice Chancellor Professor Francis Campbell said the results reflect the University’s commitment to practical, career‑focused education grounded in strong ethical foundations.
“These results confirm what we consistently hear from industry partners, that Notre Dame graduates are professional, collaborative and ready to contribute from day one,” Professor Campbell said.
“Our integrated approach to learning, which combines knowledge with practical experience, always focusing on the common good of society, continues to set our graduates apart.”
The QILT Employer Satisfaction Survey is the only national survey in Australia that measures employer views on the attributes of recent higher education graduates, linking graduate outcomes directly to feedback from their supervisors.
