The University of Notre Dame congratulates Health and Physical Education graduates Jordan Russell and Nathan Williamson on their selection to officiate at this weekend's AFL Grand Final, one of Australia's biggest and most-watched sporting events.
The Notre Dame alumni will take to football's biggest stage on the last Saturday of September, having earned appointments on the AFL Grand Final officiating team.
Jordan will serve as a boundary umpire, while Nathan has been appointed emergency field umpire.
The appointments are a significant milestone in their umpiring careers and highlight the impact Notre Dame graduates continue to have across elite Australian sport.
