The University of Notre Dame Australia will throw open the doors to its Broome Campus next week, inviting future students and their families to explore the study options and support available in the Kimberley.
To be held on Thursday 30 July, the University’s second Broome Open Day will give community members the chance to experience campus life, engage with students and meet the academics behind Notre Dame’s courses.
The event is open to everyone – from high school students to those considering a career change or postgraduate study.
Interactive activities, information sessions and advice hubs will provide information about courses, pathways into university, scholarships and student support services.
Representatives from Notre Dame’s Nulungu Research Institute and Majarlin Kimberley Centre for Remote Health will speak about the important work they do in the region.
Majarlin Director, James Debenham, said Open Day was a great opportunity for people across the Kimberley to experience the campus for themselves.
“Our Broome Campus is a unique place to study, with strong connections to the community and a welcoming and supportive environment,” he said.
“Open Day gives people the chance to experience university life, ask questions and explore the pathways to study that are available. We’re looking forward to welcoming the community onto our campus and showcasing everything it has to offer.”
Notre Dame offers a range of study opportunities at its Broome Campus, including courses with online availability.
The Broome Open Day will be held from 12 pm – 5:30 pm at 88 Guy Street Broome. The event is free and open to all community members.
