High-performing international students accepted to study at the University of Notre Dame Australia are invited to apply for the Western Australian Premiers’ University Scholarship Program, which provides $50,000 towards course fees and other university costs.
Provided by the Department of Energy and Economic Diversification the scholarship program is awarded to two successful international students at each of Western Australia’s five universities each year until the end of 2026.
This scholarship program provides international students with valuable financial support as they focus on their studies, encouraging the development of a highly skilled workforce in Western Australia and affirming the government's commitment to increasing Western Australia’s innovation and research capability.
Notre Dame is proud to facilitate this opportunity to international students and encourage incoming students from Semester 2, 2026 to apply. Previous recipients chose Notre Dame for the considerable practical experience opportunities their courses offer and the strong sense of community.
2025 recipient Minji Kim was excited to receive support as she studies her Bachelor of Nursing degree.
“After completing my first year I gained valuable hands-on experience through clinical placements which I found extremely rewarding,” she said.
Notre Dame Pro Vice Chancellor for Recruitment and Marketing, Christopher Riley said this scholarship was an important initiative, providing significant ongoing support to enable international students to study in Western Australia.
This is the final year the scholarship is being offered. Incoming international students are encouraged to apply once receiving an offer letter from the University of Notre Dame Australia.
Applications close on Friday, 29 May.
