University of Notre Dame Australia appoints new Deputy Chancellor 

The University of Notre Dame Australia is pleased to announce the election of Ms Anne Pitos as Deputy Chancellor.

A long-standing contributor to the University, she has also been a Trustee since January 2020. Ms Pitos serves on the Engagement Advisory Committee and has played an active role in supporting the life and mission of the University.

With more than two decades in senior leadership, Ms Pitos has made a significant contribution to Catholic education, including serving as Principal of Santa Maria College and Iona Presentation College.

Her extensive executive experience spans numerous professional bodies, committees, advisory groups and boards. She currently serves as Chair of the Company Members/Trustees of MercyCare. Previous roles have included membership of the Catholic Education Commission of Western Australia, board membership of the Catholic Institute of Western Australia, inaugural committee membership of the Nagle Education Alliance of Australia, and representation of the Catholic sector on the School Curriculum and Standards Authority.

The University welcomes Ms Pitos to the role of Deputy Chancellor and looks forward to her ongoing contribution to its leadership, governance and mission.
