Entry requirements
A student applying for the Graduate Certificate in Education (Leadership and Management) must:
- Hold a recognised teaching qualification (four-year Bachelor-level, or postgraduate Master of Teaching), and
- Have at least three years of relevant professional experience

Learning outcomes
Upon successful completion of the Graduate Certificate in Education (Leadership & Management) graduates will be able to:
- Critically apply and reflect on advanced knowledge and understandings of specialised educational theory and practices within the domain of educational leadership and management
- Critically evaluate issues pertaining to leadership and management models and practices, decision-making, industrial relations, the law, organisational culture, reflective practice, and responses to critical issues underlying the understanding of significant recent developments in education
- Use cognitive, technical, and creative skills with initiative and a high level of personal autonomy and accountability to generate understanding of complex issues in educational leadership and management
- Use communication and technical skills to implement, justify and interpret leadership and management models and practices, decision-making, industrial relations, the law, organisational culture, reflective practice, and responses to critical issues within educational contexts.
