UniPath in Schools
Pathways
UniPath in Schools is a FEE-FREE Uni Ready program that allows you to begin your route to university while completing Year 11 or 12. Designed for students who are uncertain about meeting ATAR entry requirements for university study, UniPath in Schools will help you develop the academic skills and knowledge that will enable a smooth transition into your first year of study. You’ll study like a university student on a Notre Dame campus or Study Centre, experience university life, meet new people, and build confidence and self-awareness. Once you have completed UniPath in Schools, together with your high school certificate (HSC/WACE), you can be confident of a successful start to your undergraduate degree.

Why study this degree?
UniPath in Schools is an enabling program designed to set you up for success so you don’t just get into university, you can thrive once you’re there. If you’re studying a non-ATAR pathway, or you’re unsure you’ll get the ATAR you need, UniPath in Schools provides a clear alternative that still leads to undergraduate study. Successful completion of the program meets academic entry requirements into many undergraduate degree programs at The University of Notre Dame.*
During your studies, you’ll develop the essential academic skills you need to succeed in university study, including communication, research, critical thinking, using data, team work, using GenAI ethically, and how to study independently. You’ll explore your future study and career goals, meet likeminded students, and build a sense of belonging as part of the community at Notre Dame.
Completing UniPath in Schools in Year 11 or 12 allows you to commence university studies in Semester 1 of the academic year with your peers.
*Arts and Sciences (excluding Architecture and Psychology), Business, Education (Primary & Early Learning only), Health Sciences (excluding Health and Physical Education: Secondary, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy) and Philosophy and Theology.
