Biography
Christine Han is Research Fellow in Applied History of Philosophy at the Notre Dame Centre for the History of Philosophy.
Christine Han received her PhD from the University of Sydney Business School. She also holds a Master of Research and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Macquarie University.
Her research sits at the intersection of philosophical inquiry and organisation studies, with particular attention to the ethical and epistemological foundations of diversity, work, and human flourishing. Drawing from Aristotelian ethics, critical theory, and postcolonial traditions, she examines how philosophical ideas can illuminate contemporary organisational life and its challenges in justice, recognition, and virtue.
Alongside her academic work, Christine is an educator and practitioner focused on equity, diversity, and sustainability in workplaces and labour markets. She collaborates with industry, government, and community partners to advance fair employment practices and to bridge philosophical inquiry and practical efforts toward systemic change.
