Biography
I love research. In fact, my parents tell me my first word was "Why?"
After completing a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with Honours (First Class) at The University of Western Australia, it was not surprising that I pursued a PhD (passed with Distinction) in Behavioural Neuroscience, at the same university. Following this, I worked at the Psychopharmacology Unit at the University of Bristol, UK and on my return to Perth held research positions in a number of health and medical-related fields. With my interest in study design and passion for undertaking complex statistical analysis further specialisation was inevitable. In 2016, I began my role as Research Biostatistician with the Institute of Health Research and have recently completed the Master of Biostatistics (Macquarie University) receiving Star Graduate acknowledgement from the Biostatistics Collaboration of Australia.
