  • Biography

    Mandy completed her undergraduate degree with a major in sports science at the University of Wales before undertaking her PhD in the School of Orthopaedic Surgery in the University of Aberdeen. After a number of research and academic positions in the UK, she moved to Australia in 2014 where she joined Federation University in Ballarat as a lecturer in human movement and sports science.

    Her current research interests include the mechanical and chemokine factors in osteoarthritis and motor control and co-ordination in children with neuro-developmental disorders. She has secured a number of grants and has over a dozen publications. Mandy also sits on the Editorial Board as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Bodyworks Movements and Therapies.
