• Biography

  Nerida has over 15 years’ experience in management and leadership roles within WA Health. Nerida is the Program Manager of the WA Cervical Cancer Prevention Program where she applies her extensive knowledge of population-based screening for health promotion, cancer prevention and follow-up support. Nerida sits on multiple national committees, including the Steering Committee for the Renewal Implementation Project (SCRIP) which provides expert, high-level independent, strategic advice regarding the implementation of the renewed National Cervical Screening Program.
  
  Drawing on her knowledge of the national and state-based cervical screening program, Nerida has worked collaboratively with Professors Jim Codde and Paul Cohen, and Dr Aime Munro since 2011 in multiple research projects that investigate the detection and management of cervical abnormalities and how to best translate the research findings into clinical practice.
  
  Nerida has co-authored eight peer reviewed publications and had several governmental reports.
