  • Biography

    Amanda graduated from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Health Science in 2009 and a Masters in International Health in 2012. Although enrolled in a PhD full-time, Amanda is also a sessional tutor in the School of Health Science at Notre Dame.

    Funded by Collaborative Research Network since 2014, Amanda’s PhD will investigate Identity formation and motor competence among middle adolescents. She will also explore if motor competence impacts on an adolescent’s psychosocial wellbeing and if this is influenced by parental support. The findings of her project will have the potential to provide more insight into how low motor competence impacts on adolescent’s identity formation.
