  • Biography

    Helen graduated as a physiotherapist from the Western Australian Institute of Technology (Curtin University) in 1981 and remains a practicing clinical physiotherapist. Her work experience is across the life span but now focuses on developmental paediatrics and rehabilitation of children and their families, from neonates to the young adult. She has worked within the public and private health sector at tertiary, secondary and community care levels and the disability sector in metropolitan and rural areas. She is currently employed at the State Child Development Centre, West Perth, as an advanced level clinical physiotherapy practitioner, clinical educator and physiotherapy manager but also maintains her involvement with the King Edward Memorial Hospital Neonatal Physiotherapy service. Helen also runs a private paediatric clinic Touch Move and Play Physiotherapy Services in Perth.
