Megan Harrison

  • Biography

    Megan graduated as a doctor from the University of Western Australia in 2012. Since then she has worked at Fremantle Hospital and St John of God Hospital in a clinical role. She is currently completing her Basic Physician Training with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. Megan has been involved in research since 2008, with prior experience primarily in the area of Neuroanatomy.

    Through analysis of the Australian Scleroderma Interest Group database, Megan’s research project aims to assess the relationship between systemic sclerosis and bronchiectasis. It also aims to ascertain the impacts of this relationship, and the factors involved.

    MSc (Medicine) thesis title: Establishing the relationship between systemic sclerosis and bronchiectasis: A study into the prevalence, aetiology and outcomes of bronchiectasis in coexistence with systemic sclerosis.
