Studying nursing at Notre Dame's Broome Campus is a dream come true for HLT54121 Diploma of Nursing student, Fiona, who aspires to work in emergency care.

Fiona credits the hands-on experience with giving her the confidence to work in the fast-paced environment of an emergency unit.

I'm currently a St John's volunteer. After many placements at St John's and with Notre Dame through the Diploma of Nursing, I have found my feet in the emergency department

"I've always had an interest in the human body and people, and the way that the body works, the holistic care of different people and clients, and how people respond to different treatments."

Fiona acknowledges the care and support she received while studying at Notre Dame.
