Imagine being so inspired by your overseas study experience that you travel more than 17,000km for another tour of duty? Julia McAlindon from Saint Mary’s College at Notre Dame, Indiana, did just that!

The US-based nursing student returned to Notre Dame Fremantle’s School of Nursing for a second semester, a chance to get further hands-on experience at some of Western Australia’s top medical facilities and to meet up with close friends.

“Notre Dame in Fremantle is unlike any other university I’ve visited or studied at. It is unique in the sense that the buildings are intertwined with the City of Fremantle”, said Julia.

“Living in the residence halls, which are located right in the heart of Fremantle, has been a contributor to my success and growth as a person. I have loved every moment of being a student here.”
