Fremantle Campus
Our foundation Campus is located in the historic West End of Fremantle.
There's no single path to a Notre Dame degree. We've designed multiple entry options to meet you where you are.
Have you worked for 2+ years? You may be eligible to apply on your experience alone. We assess your readiness based on your educational achievements, work experience, and life experience — all considered holistically.
Applicants who have been out of school for 2 or more years and can demonstrate relevant work or life experience. No minimum ATAR is required — your whole background is considered.
Completed a TAFE qualification? Notre Dame offers recognition of your prior learning, which can mean advanced standing into your undergraduate degree — saving you time and money.
Students who have completed a Certificate III, IV, Diploma, or Advanced Diploma from a registered training organisation. Both full and partial completions may be considered.
Notre Dame applies adjustment factors to students applying via ATAR that can boost your selection rank. These recognise the challenges some students face and reward your resilience — giving you a fairer chance at entry.
Current Year 12 students or recent school leavers who meet one or more adjustment factor criteria — including rural or remote location, school-based disadvantage, or other personal circumstances.
The TPP is a free semester-long program that prepares you for entry into many of our undergraduate degrees. Ideal for mature-age students, school leavers wanting a refresher, or international students.
Open to domestic students who do not meet standard entry requirements, mature-age applicants, and international students. No ATAR required. The program runs for one semester full-time.
UniPath lets you study at Notre Dame while completing Year 11 or 12. Gain university credit, develop academic skills, and secure an offer into many undergraduate degree programs upon successful completion.
Current Year 11 or Year 12 students at participating high schools. Students must have school principal endorsement and meet basic academic criteria. Available in General and Health streams.
Our pathway advisors will review your background and help you find the best route to your Notre Dame degree.
Notre Dame is different. Our small community means you get real support — from academics who know your name, peers who've been where you are, and a university that genuinely wants you to succeed.
Small classes
Notre Dame prides itself on a personal, high-touch teaching environment where you're known by name — not just a student number. Our small class sizes mean you get real interaction with academics.
Academic tutoring
Free tutoring and academic support is available across all major subject areas. Whether it's essay writing, maths, or research skills — help is always within reach.
Peer mentoring
Connect with student ambassadors and peer mentors who have walked in your shoes. Our first-year transition programs help you settle in quickly and build your support network.
A one-off grant to help cover the costs of starting university - laptop, books, uniforms and other essential equipment.
A multi-year scholarship for commencing students experiencing financial hardship or educational disadvantage.
Financial support for students undertaking compulsory full-time placements who are experiencing financial hardship.
Defer your student contribution through HECS-HELP and repay only when you're earning - no upfront cost required.
