• Biography

  Katie originally joined The University of Notre Dame in 2000 as a sessional Lecturer and tutor. Prior to that she taught in Independent and Government schools in the area of Health & Physical Education. Katie taught in the classroom for 10 years as a classroom teacher with experience as HOLA and Health Education Co-coordinator.

  Since 2010 she has taken on many teaching roles at Notre Dame. She currently coordinates the Health & PE Course for Primary B Ed students, Foundational Teaching Skills for Secondary B Ed students, and teaches general Pedagogy Courses to both secondary and primary students. Katie also supervises and mentors Pre-service teachers while they are on practicum. Katie is currently the Student Support Officer at the University Of Notre Dame, Fremantle Campus.  She has a strong interest in the social and emotional wellbeing of the students at Notre Dame.
