  • Slavin Postgraduate Award

    Value: annual fees payable for a Research Training Program (RTP)

    The Award is to provide financial assistance to priests or seminarians of WA dioceses to undertake postgraduate research at The University of Notre Dame Australia, Fremantle.

    To be eligible for the Award applicants must:

    1. Be enrolled full time (or part time, see clause 10) in a Research Degree course (as that term is defined in the University’s General Regulations) at the Fremantle campus of the University;
    2. Be a priest or seminarian of a WA diocese; and
    3. Submit a written application in the form required by clause 8 of the Conditions.

  • Slavin Undergraduate Scholarships

    Value: tuition fees

    The Scholarship is to assist seminarians from St Charles’ Seminary in Guilford who are studying a course, other than a Research Degree, at The University of Notre Dame Australia, Fremantle.

    To be eligible for the Scholarship applicants must:

    1. Be enrolled full- time (or part-time, see clause 10) in a course other than a Research Degree course (as that term is defined in the University’s General Regulations) on the Fremantle campus of the University of Notre Dame Australia;
    2. Be a seminarian from St Charles' Seminary in Guildford;
    3. Be a candidate for the Priesthood for any of the Western Australian dioceses; and
    4. Submit a written application in the form required by clause 7 of the Conditions.

  • The T.A.S. Scholarship

    Value: 40% of the recipient’s tuition fees

    The purpose of the Scholarship is to enable graduates from Catholic Secondary Schools in Western Australia to undertake a Bachelor’s Degree in the disciplines of Commerce or Philosophy or Theology on The University of Notre Dame Australia, Fremantle.

    To be eligible for the Scholarship applicants must:

    1. Be a citizen or permanent resident of Australia;
    2. Be a School Leaver;
    3. Have graduated from a Catholic Secondary School and be of Catholic denomination;
    4. Be eligible to enrol or be enrolled as a full-time student at The University of Notre Dame Australia in the School of Business or the School of Philosophy & Theology;
    5. Be able to demonstrate that their educational opportunities are limited due to adverse circumstances as set out in the Selection Criteria.

    Please note that this Scholarship is awarded for the duration of the recipient’s studies and applications will reopen in 2021 for the 2022 Scholarship.

  • The B.J. Hickey Biblical Foundation Scholarships

    The B.J. Hickey Biblical Foundation offers scholarships to lay people, including Religious Sisters and Brothers, residing in the Archdiocese of Perth. They are for biblical studies of any length, at any level, locally or overseas.​
