  • Slavin Postgraduate Award

    Value: Equivalent to the annual fees payable for a Research Training Program (RTP)

    The purpose of the Award is to provide financial assistance to priests or seminarians of Western Australian dioceses to undertake postgraduate research at The University of Notre Dame Australia, Fremantle Campus.

    To be eligible for the Award applicants must:

    a. Be enrolled full- time (or part time if they are able to demonstrate exceptional circumstances relating to significant caring commitments or a medical condition which limits their capacity to undertake full time study) in a Research Degree course (as that term is defined in the University’s General Regulations) at the University of Notre Dame Australia, Fremantle Campus;
    b. Be a priest or seminarian of a Western Australian diocese; and
    c. Submit a written application in the form required by clause 8 of the Conditions.

    Award Conditions

  • Slavin Undergraduate Scholarships

    Value: Bachelor of Theology student fees

    The purpose of the Scholarship is to assist up to two seminarians from St Charles' Seminary in Guilford who are studying at The University of Notre Dame Australia, Fremantle Campus in a course other than a research degree.

    To be eligible for the Scholarship applicants must:

    a. Be enrolled full-time (or part time if they are able to demonstrate exceptional circumstances relating to significant caring commitments or a medical condition which limits their capacity to undertake full time study) in a course other than a research degree course (as that term is defined in the University’s General Regulations) at The University of Notre Dame Australia, Fremantle Campus;
    b. Be a seminarian from St Charles' Seminary in Guildford;
    c. Be a candidate for the Priesthood for any of the Western Australian dioceses; and
    d. Submit a written application in the form required by clause 8 of the Conditions.

    Scholarship Conditions

  • The T.A.S. Scholarship

    Value: 40% of the recipient’s tuition fees

    The purpose of the Scholarship is to enable graduates from Catholic Secondary Schools in Western Australia to undertake a Bachelor’s Degree in the disciplines of Commerce or Philosophy or Theology on The University of Notre Dame Australia, Fremantle Campus.

    The Scholarship aims to assist students whose educational opportunities are limited due to financial need by meeting 40% of the cost of their course tuition fees for the duration of their studies.

    To be eligible for the Scholarship applicants must:

    a. Be a citizen or permanent resident of Australia;
    b. Have graduated from a Catholic Secondary School and be of Catholic denomination;
    c. Be eligible to enrol or be enrolled as a full-time student at The University of Notre Dame Australia, Fremantle, in the School of Business or the School of Philosophy and Theology;
    d. Demonstrate that their educational opportunities are limited due to adverse circumstances such as distance, financial need, disability or responsibility for the care of the ill or the elderly; and
    e. Demonstrate how the award of the scholarship would assist the applicant in addressing the aforementioned limitations.

  • Vincent Pallotti Scholarship Trust

    Value: up to $3,000

    The purpose of the Scholarship is to enable lay people to further their understanding and skills in leadership/ministry or a specialised activity, such as the promotion of faith enhancement, social justice and pastoral care.
