  • The Aboriginal Health Tertiary Access and Support Program Scholarships

    Value: $5,000 plus $1,500 for material support and resources

    The purpose of the Scholarship is to provide support for Aboriginal students to access and attain tertiary qualifications in health related disciplines offered within the following Schools:

    a. School of Health Sciences;
    b. School of Medicine;
    c. School of Nursing and Midwifery; or
    d. School of Physiotherapy.

  • The Bradley Richards Scholarship in Physiotherapy

    Value: $10,000

    The purpose of the Scholarship is to assist and encourage students in financial need enrolled in the School of Physiotherapy at The University of Notre Dame Australia, Fremantle.

    To be eligible for the Scholarship, applicants must:

    a. Be enrolled in their final year of studies in the School of Physiotherapy, Fremantle; and
    b. Be able to demonstrate the circumstances set out in the Selection Criteria.

  • The D’Souza Family Scholarship

    Value: $5,000

    The purpose of the Scholarship is to assist and encourage a student, for whom educational opportunities are limited because of financial or personal hardship. The Scholarship is limited to students enrolled in the School of Health Sciences; School of Medicine; School of Nursing and Midwifery; or School of Physiotherapy.

    To be eligible for the Scholarship applicants must:

    a. Be enrolled as a full-time student at the University of Notre Dame Australia, Fremantle  in one of the above listed schools; and
    b. Be able to demonstrate that their educational opportunities are limited due to adverse circumstances as set out in the Selection Criteria.

  • MBTR Travel Scholarship

    Value: $500

    The purpose of the Scholarship is to assist and encourage a student who is enrolled in one of the following courses in the School of Physiotherapy, University of Notre Dame Australia, Fremantle campus:

    • Graduate Certificate in Burn and Trauma Rehabilitation; or
    • Graduate Diploma of Burn and Trauma Rehabilitation; or
    • Master of Burn and Trauma Rehabilitation

    To be eligible for a Scholarship, applicants must be working in the area of acute burn injury care; burn patient rehabilitation; or workplace where skill and knowledge gains will benefit burn patients. The number of Scholarships awarded each semester will be at the discretion of the Selection Committee.

  • The Rocky Bay Scholarship

    Value: $5,000

    The purpose of the Scholarship is to recognise a student in the School of Physiotherapy at The University of Notre Dame Australia, Fremantle, who demonstrates academic excellence and a commitment to providing support to people living with disabilities.

    To be eligible for the Scholarship, applicants must:

    a. Be enrolled in their second or third year of studies in the School of Physiotherapy on the Fremantle campus at The University of Notre Dame Australia; and
    b. Have attained a grade of Distinction level or better.

  • The Kimberley Rural Health Alliance Scholarship

    Value: up to $40,000

    The purpose of the Scholarship is to provide financial support to students from the Kimberley region to study an accredited undergraduate course within the allied health or nursing and midwifery professions. It is intended that the Scholarship will assist in addressing some of the financial limitations that may be associated with living in rural or remote locations. The Majarlin Kimberley Centre for Remote Health will award one Scholarship each year if there is a suitable candidate.

    To be eligible for the Scholarship applicants must:

    a. Be from the Kimberley region of Australia (proof of 3 years attendance at a Kimberley school is required);
    b. Be enrolled as a full-time student in an undergraduate health related discipline at The University of Notre Dame Australia;
    c. Commit to undertake a clinical placement in the Kimberley region organised through the Majarlin Kimberley Centre for Remote Health. The placement must be at least four week duration and approved by the student’s School; and
    d. Be able to demonstrate satisfactory academic achievement and be in Good Standing throughout the duration of Scholarship.

  • Australian Rotary Health Scholarship

    Australian Rotary Health provides funding into four focus areas: mental health research; general health research; Indigenous health scholarships; and rural medical and nursing scholarships.

  • The House Call Doctors Futures in Health Indigenous Scholarship

    Value: $5,000

    The Scholarship will recognise students who have demonstrated exceptional academic performance and displayed a commitment to their local community and personal development.

    To be eligible for the Scholarship applicants must:

    a. Be an Australian citizen or permanent resident; and
    b. Identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander.

  • Mentone Educational Student Research Scholarship 2018

    Value: $3,000

    The purpose of the Scholarship is to reward and support an eligible medical or healthcare student towards research projects.

    To be eligible for the Scholarship applicants must:

    a. Be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident; and
    b. Be a current Medical, Nursing or Allied Health student.

  • Puggy Hunter Memorial Scholarship Scheme

    Value: $15,000 per year for full-time study, $7,500 per year for part-time study for the duration of the course

    The purpose of the Scholarship is to assist Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander (ATSI) people who are studying a course in ATSI health work, allied health, dentistry and oral health, medicine, midwifery or nursing.

    To be eligible for the Scholarship applicants must:

    a. Be of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent;
    b. Be enrolled or intending to enroll in an entry level or graduate entry level health related course including Doctor of Medicine and Doctor of Dentistry; and
    c. Intend to study in the academic year that the Scholarship is offered.
