Higher Degree by Research (HDR)

Expression of Interest (EOI)

Important

  • Prospective candidates for an HDR program must fill out this expression of interest form before being invited to apply for admission to a program.
  • To learn more about HDR programs on offer, visit Research at Higher Degrees by Research Admission.
  • Submission of this form and accompanying documentation is not a formal application for a Higher Degree by Research.
  • If you wish to apply for the RTP scholarship, please select Yes for the “Are you interested in applying for a scholarship?” question below. Your application will be automatically considered for the next available scholarship application process.
  • The relevant School will assess the EOI and determine program eligibility and suitable supervision. It is not a requirement that you have supervisors prior to submitting your EOI.
  • Incomplete information may result in a delay in the processing of your Expression of Interest.
  • Enquiring well ahead (at least two months) before the University of Notre Dame’s recommended formal HDR application deadline is best. The University recommends that formal admission applications be submitted by either the end of May or November for the following semester's intake.
