Where in the world will your degree take you?
Travelling is an education in itself. Getting out of your comfort zone and experiencing other cultures can expand your horizons and worldview in a way no textbook can.
Whether you’re Australian or looking to come to Australia from overseas, you can inject some adventure into your degree with Notre Dame’s range of international programs:
Study at Notre Dame Australia – for international students
Notre Dame is a leading Australian university which offers an exceptional educational experience.
As a deliberately smaller university, with approximately 12,000 students nationwide, the Notre Dame experience is a personal one. You are on a first name basis with academics and receive high levels of academic support. Notre Dame is the #1 uni in Perth and Sydney for Student Support (qilt.edu.au).
Internships and professional experience, which form part of your degree, will equip you for the world beyond University. You will graduate with experience on your CV, which provides a real advantage in gaining employment. Notre Dame has one of the highest graduate employment rates in Australia (qilt.edu.au).
Study Abroad at Notre Dame – for inbound students
Study Abroad Program – for NDA students
You can apply to study a semester of your degree at a range of destinations across the globe at one of Notre Dame’s partner institutions in Europe, USA, Canada and Asia.
How does it work?
Approved exchange students pay the equivalent of the Notre Dame tuition fees for the semester abroad, plus travel, accommodation and living costs. You will receive credits towards your degree while studying abroad.
Experience the World Program – for NDA students
A number of short-term overseas study tour and service-learning programs are available to Notre Dame students to be immersed in new cultures and environments around the world as well as within Australia.
If you are a School of Arts & Sciences student, you may have the opportunity to study history in Spain, politics in Cambodia and English Literature in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Nursing-students gain clinical experience in Vietnam. And students from the Schools of Education and Business gain teaching experience in India, Tanzania, Timor-Leste and remote communities in Western Australia.
All of these experiences not only contribute to your program of study, but to your own personal development. To find out more speak to your School.
